 This is the shot from the parking lot of my apartment complex - to the east. Often the mountains here are hazy, which makes them hard to photograph.

Great idea to offset the rooftops at practically the same level as the hills behind. Makes them look very natural in their setting. I like the narrow crop too.

I really like the how the tops of the house reflect the lines of the mountains. it makes for an interesting composition.

I was amazed when I was in Phoenix not too long ago at how pretty it is. The reason I was amazed is because I hate the desert. But the architecture in Phoenix, and the mountains really do give the desert a dramatic beautiful look! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your photos.
