Well, this is what I was able to do with the minimal editing, I would have loved to take the exposure up just a little, and be able to clon out some imperfections in the painting of the peppers... I really don`t know what to expect, not much really... But since I waisted so many things (3 peppers died for this shot.. and an apple) I think I have to sumbit.. jeje

I love this picture. Especially the way you almost let the white of the pepper melt with the white background. The difference is just enough to separate the two.

this is interesting - I am curious as to why these are painted? it certainly makes it more than just a pic with two peppers.

I find this very appealing and really can't tell you why. Nicely done, and would have been a great entry in the Personification challenge, too!

not sure on the title but the extra effort of the paint was worth it - creatively different -- one of my ribbon picks

This is such a neat and creative shot! :) I see what you had in mind here. The white balance looks just a bit off though. A seperate light for the background could've helped it be more white and less gradient but that depends , because the gradient here does work well too, kind of like a sunset of sorts. For the challenge though, having the whites really white without the hue would've been perfect.

Simple, clean and effective minimalistic presentation. O.K. this shot really makes me pause and think how did the photographer managed to get the striped effect on the peppers. Methinks you did alot of physical work to 'paint' this scene;-) I find this very creative and visually interesting. The red and yellow tones of the peppers really pop off the white backdrop. I also like that the white backdrop is not a stark white but a soft white that fades up to a soft gentle gray which makes the photo very easy on the eyes to look upon. Well done!

white balance is way off. real peppers would have been so much nicer

the idea and the composition are good. the background is distracting. I think that a better solution maybe an over exposition for obtain the white background or one other choice for his colour. in fact on the upper side of the peppers the subject isn't clearly separated from the background. 6
