 This was tough. Not in the same way as other challenges. It was tough to pick a minimalistic subject that would look good, fit the challenge, and be worthy of absolutely no crop or edit. Shot in JPG, Sized to 720pix wide, then used "sharpen". This was on my desk at work using a new, versatile allegedly full spectrum light. It's basically laying on the desk and the clip is on a piece of paper. This is in full color obviously and I realize the white balance is imperfect - but i thought this sorta added to the flourescent "office" feel. I used the 10-20mm lens again - this continues to be the most useful lens i have - and it only has 10mm range! close up interior stuff as well as great landscapes and nature images.

Nice lighting and tone. Subject isn't terribly interesting but the textured background and shadows really help.

the lighting makes this image. I really like and textured hued background a real plus - great change from all the white. I like that the paperclip looks used. 8

I like the minimal lighting on this.. The paper doesn't look like paper, almost like the smooth surface of the moon.. Great job.
