 this was a very easy photograph to take. it's just a small plastic ruler sitting on some white paper, lit by a desk lamp.

i used my macro lens to enhance the effect of the dof.

post processing i used a curves layer to increase the white, and a layer with +5 contrast.

that's it ...

I'd like to see a fraction more DOF to sharpen the 1 and really give the 10 visual punch.

Good placement for the area in focus however the area of focus is a little too narrow and not the entire number 10 is in focus.
