 Had a blast with the In-laws, driving around looking for the perfect fence while visiting them for New Years. Luckily, they live in a beautiful setting, with lots of snow!

Easily my most aggressive post-processing to date, but I think the result is kind-of cool. This will likely be way overdone for a lot of people, but i guess we'll see. I was SOOOOO inclined to enter the Black & White version of this, as it definitely had that Ansel feel to it, but I've had far to many B&W submissions lately ;o)

Also - this is my 1st entry with my shiny new 17-40mm F4... so we'll see how it does :O)

cloned out some sensor dust (i REALLY need to clean it)
cloned out one tiny splinter from a rail & the barbed-wire ends (miniscule) at the edge.

I don't usually like borders, but for this shot it seems to work really well for bringing out the red in the fence. Good job.

Awesome! You really got this photograph to be about the fence and it really pops visually. Strong post-editing skills really punch this pic up a few notches but it doesn't look overdone. Print please!

Beautiful exposure and tones. I might have shifted the rocks a little more off centered, but I like the compostion otherwise. Tough to get snow right - good job.
