this is a very beautiful shot, really nice capturing of the light rays, but I'm curious, did you do any touch-ups? if so, which software/method did you use?

I love that picture. Where was it taken? I have seen scenes like that many times but have never been able to capture them. I heard Bill Bryson say about writing that he writes about what many experience but he captures the detail. This picture really, really captures the detail and the feeling of morning rays. Congrats.

| Very effective. I would have tried playing with the black-point to make the tree-line a little darker and maybe more distinct from the sky (particularly over on the right). |
