The tone, details, and exposure on this are much stronger than your "outtake"  . Compositionally, I like the outtake better. Nice work on both of them, and congratulations on a very fine score!

| Wonderful bird pic...I know how small chickadees are and you did a great job of not losing any detail. The branch it is on is a perfect "frame" for the little one as well. |

| Looks like the sticks above are sharper than your bird. This would be better if you used the center focus point on your camera and locked on the bird's eye. |

| One of the most striking bird photos I've seen on this site, in my humble opinion. My only complaint is the blurred foreground twigs...which I find very distracting. Not sure what could be done about those, though. I offer a 9. |

| I like the framing with the branches. THe white is just a little burned out and the focus is off a tad...would like to see the edges of the bird sharp as well as the foliage. |
