RAW processing in Adobe Lightroom to 16-bit TIFF, exported to Photomatix Pro and lightly tone mapped, exported to PS7
hue/sat adjustment layer, desat all channels 20%. Gradients all 4 edges in in multiply layer, faded to 20%. High Pass sharpening, resize, border, save for web.

Gawd, this workflow is getting FAST :-) I am in love with the Lightroom beta... The tone mapping really didn't add much here; could have done same thing in PS7 with curves easily, but tone mapping is natural to me now.
I have a sweet B/W version of this also, was hard to choose between them. |

Ah, the 10-22 and some very lovely light indeed. I can't quite vote in challenges at the moment (I'm on dial-up, believe it or not) but I did recognize this as yours from the thumbnail. I'll have to check to see if you posted the B&W. |

i like this photo alot, gave me a feeling of something wonderful to come. one note, the electric and the street light poles on the right side distracted from the rustic rustic quality. |

You may have been too close on this one. The image appears to be very distorted, which gives it a very unnatural appearance. |

L()L this is great. It seems we all have been there at a time or two waiting for the light to become pefect for the single one shot we have to capture. This is very nice. |

When the light comes you'll need a camera though. |
