My grandmother's dog. She's impossible to keep still. Every time I backed up to get all of her, she inched forward. LOL.

Heh! I know exactly what you mean about getting them to keep still! Emma does that to me all the time... Was just gonna mention that I think the color is off, but I see that's been covered. You did catch a wonderful expression!

I didn't realize I had done it till after voting started, but I hit the "auto color" instead of "auto levels" and this is what it did! She does have a lot of orange "highlights" (for lack of a better word) in her fur, so I guess the auto color picked up on that.

I like the pose and expression, but the color seems really off. Did you change the hue or up the saturation a lot? I also think the highlights toward back are distracting. Very cute doggie, though! Bet your grandmother will treasure this!

Seems to have a yellowish tint, and the background color doesn't offset the subject well. Cut-off tail tip and toes are bothersome.

IMHO, A bit too orange. Needs a faster shutter speed, You did get the DOF right, oh and I like dogs 7.

4 - Despite your title, ears minimum still make this better in my opinion. Also looks like the focus is stronger further down so a variation there as well as composition and crop choice (especially to not chop off the paws) make this better in my opinion.

Cute pup.
I think this image could have been better if the lighting were not so orange...the white balance is really off. And the little guy is kind of out of focus too, which may also be because there wasn't enough light.

This dog is glowing yellow. Gives a radioactive look.

Good choice of background and angle; would prefer a crop that included the whole dog and would like eyes in better focus (looks like the rump is in best focus).

Cute shot for sure. I would be interested to see a very unique perspective in this shot, one I would not normally see otherwise (possibly from 3 or 4 inches off the ground?). Good catchlights in the eyes. I keep thinking about the off-center composition here, and my main thought is it feels unbalanced. Maybe if the tail was laying (or swinging) to the left side of the frame, or the dog was looking a little left, through the shot, it would help provide counter balance to the placement along the right 2/3rds vertical line.
