Cut snake out of 2nd photo, reduced size pasted to 1st photo. Flipped, some blurring to blend snake. Then various filters used.

For me, the skull is too bright/blown out. I find it distracting, because it prevents me from seeing it clearly. I really like the composition and color. I just wish it wasn't so bright in the center. Of course too bright is what makes the environment so harsh, but I would rather see this conveyed without blowing out the highlights.

Well this shot would have appealed so much more to me if there was some detail left in that skull, usually I don´t care about blown highlights but when it´s so far gone as in this picture... Sorry but the image quality is just not for me, gave it a 3.
