| I voted low for this because of the weird out of focus plastic look. Is that a result of jpeg artifacts from a low quaility setting? Although I can certainly tie this to "life" the interpretation is somewhat weak imho. Also, the lighting seems very harsh. |

| Cropping out the background or a more shallow depth of field would help this photo. The eyes could have been in sharper focus. |

| There is something that just isn't right here, and I assume it is in the post-processing. The eyes lack clarity and sharpness, and the skin seems to lack texture. |

| Nice, tight portrait. Good light in the eyes. I'm guessing this is from a fairly low resolution camera or a tight crop, because it is suffering from a lot of artifacts. |
