i'm not big on the bokeh in the foreground here. i think maybe a few less coins in front and more coins in focus in the middle. and maybe a more overhead angle. i'm a beginner, so i'm not sure how to describe everything but i hope this helps. the title is very true. |

DOF is far too limited on this subject for my taste. To me, only the title conveys 'exploration of death.' |

this one isn't saying death to me, and there's not enough focus to make the photo interesting. |

It would be better if more of the coins were in focus. |

Seems more like a life shot than a death one. The sever bluer in the foreground is distracting to me. |

Challenge: The photo has no relation to death without a title. And even the title connects it to life and not death.
Technical: I like the use of dof. The composition is great. I like how the photo calls out the quarter that is highest up. |
