great detail and focus. don't feel the red border adds to the shot, though i assume you are using it to emphasie the red in the image. perhaps a thinner border. slightly overcropped on the bottom.

Good macro shot with good composition and focus, although I personally think unsalted peanuts are more photogenic. But although the peanut is certainly alone, I just don't get a feeling of loneliness or solitude. I want to eat the nut and go search for another bag.

Great detail & focus, the textures are very evident. Good lighting, and the color difference between the peanut shell and the skin thing is nice. I think the border is a little too much, and I'm not sure, but I think I'd like the image better without the empty shells on the left. I see it there as a backstory to help show the peanut is the last one but I think that is done well just by having the single peanut in its shell on the right. Just my thoughts though. Very nice image. 8

This photo is well taken, very sharp and focused and composed. Only the border is a bit overwhelming for me (8)
