| Beautiful image! Hard to imagine where you were in relation to the bird for this shot. I think that for the challenge, even though it is snow in the background (it is snow, right?), the background doesn't look white, neither does it really give the impression of white. ~6 |

| Perhaps bump up the exposure a bit when shooting or processing? The focus is good! |

| sorry but I find the background to grey and the bird not very light, to dark at the end of the wings, not that you can do any thing about that, but it is a good photo but just not quite light on white. sorry but that is only my opinion, good luck. |

| I like the head-on pose of the bird as it feels as if it will soon fly into me. But the image lacks overall interest beyond that one facet. |

| This has lost marks from me because it isn't against a white background. The head on shot of the powerful bird in flight is effective, but there isn't a great deal of detail visible. The resolution doesn't seem very good - was this cropped from a larger photo? |
