I'm sorry to hear about the DQ. i had given this one a 10. I had never seen this perspective before, not that I collect postcards of DC however. I loved the POV, the colors, and the spot-on exposure. Well done. |

Thanks for the comments everyone. Like a tard, I had the year set to 2005... Dooh!
Anyway, to answer the question of where I photographed this from. It was photographed from the Iwa Jima memorial which is located just across the Potomac from the Lincoln memorial. |

Terrific!! Very unusual angle. I've never seen those three landmarks from that perspective. The lighting and details are great, and the graphics are very effective. Love it! |

Very unique take on some oft photographed architecture. I like how you were able to combine all three into one shot. Looks a little strange to have the Washington monument cut-off, but I still think it looks great. Composition nicely leads my eye from left to right. |

Totally awesome composition, great job of including multiple landmarks without getting too busy of a photo. Very good postcard finish as well. Nicely done, 9! |

This is a rather unique view. Unfortunately, I feel like it would be greatly improved were the Washington Monument not there but I don't suppose there's a whole lot you can do about that, is there? Nicely lit and good graphic design. |

not the most beautiful crop, capitol is too close to the border, obelisk is hardly to recognize |

I was in Washington last weekend (why couldn't the challenge have been then? LOL).
This is beautiful, you've managed to capture the 3 major elements on The Mall in one stunning photo. I bought some postcards while I was there but none as beautiful as this. If this had been on the rack I would have bought it.
10 from me |

The structure in the center is a distraction because we can't see it in its entirety. A different angle would help. |
