I like the foreboding tones. Good composition, though I think it's a shame that you've cut of the end of the lamp, which would echo the shape of th tree nicely. |

Perfect for this challenge and a darn fine picture to boot. Love the sweep and arch of the tree, the solitary bench, and the pier in the distance. Exceptional clarity for a presentation of this size. Great mood of a storm created/enhanced by the toning. |

That tree has seen it's fair share of winds it appears. :D By picking a rainy day you've done a nice job of creating the illusion that the tree is actually blowing over. Clever. This photo seems a little flat to me, like it could use some tweaking with levels and a touch more contrast. Could be just the overcast conditions or the color tones... Anyway, good luck in the challenge. |

I like the tint very much and the small pier peeking out from behind the tree is a nice touch. The wind-swept tree really says it all. 9. |

Cool subject and overall the composition is interesting. Looks underexposed though, even for a stormy day. |

brighton, bournemouth, is it even in the UK?
This is a great shot, with really good comp. I personally feel it's let down by poor colour, which may well have been beyond your control.
Good luck. |
