An old Rolex (fake). I was just going to take a pic of the insides, but liked the effect of replacing them in the case the wrong way.

I had great trouble with the lighting, and ended up shooting it in very low light with a loooong shutter speed, which gave me close enough to what I wanted.

Very nicely done photo - composition is strong. Looks like an ad for a magazine. Lighting is good, however it might be better if the left looked like the right... where the wristband fades into the backgroun as it curves. On the left there is a pretty bright spot. Frame works well for the photo... 8

Wow! My Submariner has a black face, always wondered what was under it. Are you a rolex mechanic? I have a son-n-law who is. He keeps mine purring.
Photo is a great product shot, would give an 8 if I could vote.

Hahaha, very cute concept on the challenge. I love it. The clarity of the shot is wonderful, you can see each little cog and part inside the watch, no clare on the front and you can tell you kept the crystal on because of the small magnified area on the top. My only problem with the shot is the left side, it looks to bright compared to the right for my taste, if the light was more balanced this would have gotten a 10 right off the bat, as is, I'm starting with an 8.

Good Points:clarity idea and execution great!!!
Bad Points: a bit too much light reflecting on the left strap but that's clutching at straws for a bad point ;)
Score:9

Nice solid photo. Everything appears to be in good focus, the gears as well as the numerals. The background, metallic look and border all work well together. Lighting is good as well. The unusual face of the watch adds to its general appeal. Good job! 7
