 Mam Tor in the Peak District National Park UK.

Used 3 Lee filters ND grad 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9 stacked to even up the exposure a little between the sky, the fog and the mountain tops.



Is a previous yellow ribbon winner from about 300 feet below the same vantage point


Wooohooot!!
I knew from the second I drove down through the mist filled valley that a vantage point from the top of Mam Tor would have this shot nailed. These temperature inversions happen quite regularly in Autumn in the Peak District, and I drive through here every day. Just a case of being there.

What a beautiful scene. It must be a spectacular sight to behold. But I guess since you drive through it every day you're probably used to it's awesomeness.

I didn't even have to look at the description to know this was in the UK, nowhere else does the landscape look like this.

A wondrous view - the land up close looks a little too light compared to mid-ground, but it's a nit-pick. A hot air ballon floating above those clouds would wrap this up for sure!
