| Gorgeous! I've noticed that not many people read the detail of the challenge ... to emphasize the age of your subject with your photographic techniques! ... instead they simply took a pic of something that looked old to them ... but this photo perfectly meets the challenge. | The bright unfocussed spot at the top is a problem. Try rotating the rose to push it out of the top of the frame. |

| I reallylike this. The details are superb--wonderful textures from the veins on the petals--The light ighlights the details of the petals and the subdued colours--but rich--stop this from becoming cliched.-andrewm |

Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject.
Composition - good
Technical Aspects - very good. I'd like to see a version in more light for comparison.
Meets Challenge - yes
Visual Impact / Originality - good

| I think your picture would have been just as convincing if you had better lighting. The detail has been degraded by the low light. Depth of field could have been better with a small aperature and longer exposure. Autool |

| This is an excelent picture, it has it all and, technically, I can't fault it. Love the colour, love the texture (this could have won the texture challenge) and it spills emotion. I think, although (I'm only expressing one opinion) I think the link to the challenge is weaker than it could be... (8) |

| A wilted or dried flower was one of my choices (on a checklist of 5 possble items. I didn't think I could do the shot justice. You did it and then some! Congrats. |
