Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject. Composition - good Technical Aspects - quite good Meets Challenge - maybe Visual Impact / Originality - good Don't confuse old with broken down.

This shot seems really grainy -- perhaps oversharpening or too low of a quality mode on your camera. The subject is really cool. It'd be neat to see some macros of features on this bus. |

It looks like you over did the sharpen/despeckle tools a bit - the overhead wires are all blocky and chopped up. Or was just a really low resolution image? |

Love the peeling paint and rust. |

Too many compression effects. Nicely framed, good lighting. |

Yes it needs paint, but is it really that old? 4 sjgleah |

Strangely while I normally find compression artifacts and jagies annoying in digital photos, it kind of works with this subject. The color is nice too with most of the yellow still on the front but gone from the sides. |

Another victim of a bad resizing algorithm. Those cables above the bus have turned into dashed lines. Avoid resizing methods like bicubic, bilinear or nearest neighbor. Stick to "resample" and if necessary add a tiny bit of sharpening afterwards. |

yeah, paint and probably a little gas. Power lines in background distract, and you probably could have cropped it closer for dramatic effect, rather than try to include entire bus. |

Like many of my own, the flash is a little too obvious, but I love the subject. Good spot! |

Nice choice. Focus looks good, Lighting is good. Seem to have a lot of pixilization on the wires. My camera does that to. 6 |

Cool Picture. the lighting in the front is great. The lighting down the left is a little dark. great detail. |

This looks pixelated to me, maybe oversharpened. I really like the capture of this old bus though. Good job! karmat |

would be good, but to tampered with. |

yup.. she needs a little paint :) I think the jpg compression monster may have snagged you some on this one.. there are a few jagged edges on the wires and the diagonals in this photo... - jmsetzler |

Nice subject and it fits the challenge well. I am concerned about the power lines, is there some way that you could have moved around to get rid of them? Your picture looks kind of sureal, was the lighting poor or did you get that effect on purpose? Maybe your focus was off, I am just thinking with a little more time you could have made a lot better picture. Autool |

Great subject, good picture, scores well (8) but it's just a tad on the dark side. |

not the best quality, B & W would have meritted more points. |

looks like you had some file problems. If only those power lines weren't there. I wonder if you used your flash for this because teh front of the buss looks pretty bright and the area next to the bus does not. Seems a bit unnatural. |

I really like what you attempted here, but it seems this image has a ton of "jaggies" in it that really distract from it. |

Really one of the more interesting shots this week. I like the angle and perspective, photo seems like it lost a little in compression, but I still like the shot a lot. |

The power lines and the utility pole a re really distracting.A shot of just the front of the bus may have been a better choice. |

What a great vehicle. I also took a pic of a vehicle. Yours has such nice color I am glad that you didn't do it in B&W |
