Thanks all for ur Kind comments, I appreciate them all, Ya I do agree the streetlamp should be cropped off. I was in a car then, and I stopped in the middle of a not-too-busy road to get this so I did not have alot of time to position my camera well enough, will take note of all comments made so far, Once again thanks all. =)

good idea and cool shot. The only thing that I would change would be to increase the contrast a llittle bit to further darken the area on the bottom of the shot. Right now, I can sort of make out some objects on the bottom, and the picture is kind of in limbo of being a silhouette or not. I think that its a little distracting because my eyes are trying to make out what objects are on the bottom instead of appreciating the cool crane's and their good composition up top.

This is a nice strong image that says "rest" no movement and looks great. Still i would have prefered it if the darker foreground was darker still and acted more as a sort of silhouette shot, i feel if it was a silhouette shot it would be stronger yet...

Very creative idea. I would have cropped out the lamp post on the right side of the frame.

When the challenge is over, I think some spot editing to remove the Red Traffic Light color and making the whole image monchrome with removing the buidlings details could create a very interesting silhouette. The crop for framing is just about right.

I like the "feel" of this photo a lot. A different angle may have been better if it was at all possible. What distracts me is the top left corner, and the street lamp.

interesting take on the challenge, nicely composed, may have worked even better had the street lamp been cropped out as well on the right...nice job

Very cool! I love taking pictures of these things But I havent got one as good as this one I love how they all point in the same directions and the bridge (or whatever it is) above too Only thing is the light on the right (you should have chopped it down ;) ) Mabey a bit little crop of the bottom and the top, Anyway good job - 8

I like the lines in this photo. They are clean and crisp. The unexpected small bit of red is nicely done too. I wouldn't necessarilly think this would be a picture that says rest but this photo does evoke that feeling to some degree.

I like the contrast, I might have made this B/W since it is most of the way there already.

the picture 'feels' like a massive attac of iron birds
the streetlight on the right is bad.

you can photograph absolutely anything that isn't moving and call it 'at rest' :) I like the composition on this photo as well as the contrast... nice work :)
