Shot in an alley near my place. The writing on the wall originally read "No Trespassing Anytime".
I set the timer for ten seconds, placed ghetto cam on a recycling bin and sat in that nasty garbage.
I got the idea because I was walking by the spot on day and saw a junkie crouched there shooting up...I wanted to take his picture, it was so perfect, but I checkened out....
So I used me instead.

Starightened horizon
crop
clone out letters on wall
gaussian
contrast
little channel mixing
border and resize

( more or less ...)

Seriously punchy shot. Powerful lighting and feel to this.

Quite underrated my dear. Excellent exposure and lighting, and I love the "tripod" you used for your ghetto cam. That little thing serves you well. Remember, it's not the camera... you've shown that. :-)

given the title, this photo raises an unusally high number of questions. like; why are the wheelie bins upside down? it has an indecipherable narrative which i find quite appealing (like an episode of Lost, i suppose) and as a set up it's creative, though i think bordering on the pretentious. which isn't a bad thing, obviously. the soft (diffused?) glow is a bit overdone for my own tastes, and the brightness of the white portion of wall feels harsh. we see that the person is in despair, but oddly, possibly due to posture, the person has no defineable characteristics or personality (or indeed, apart from the sandals, gender), so it's difficult to feel any level empathy, emotion or sympathy for them, which leaves the picture feeling a bit cold overall. i like the concept, but to me it just misses something. 7.

I like the processing for the most part. I might change a few things starting with the bottome left cornor but good job overall.
