This is a scene of a great indian love story movie named "Parineeta" meaning aparted from the love. it is based on a Bengali( an indian language)novel by one of the great indian authors.

I went to the movie web site during the challenge and I could not tell if this was a photo you took of friends who looked like the actors or if it was an actual photo of the film. Guess my initial instincts were correct. I gave you an 8 because I couldn't tell. Nice try.

Never seen this film, but this picture looks so much like a scene from a movie. That's great, very "black and white movie-ish," good job!

Possible DQ, unless you actually know Sanjay Dutt. Looks like it is a screenshot of a dvd. If not, very well done.

I hope the soft effect is intentional.. would prefer it to be sharper..
The post process in B/W looks a little faded..

I've not seen it myself, but your photo has a definite film quality to it, it could easily be a shot straight from a film. Very atmospheric.

this is superb; the post processing is excellent and makes is feel very much like an actual still from a movie! i have not seen this film, i admit, but it does have a very much an authenitc asain / bollywoody feel about it. he looks like he might even break into song! you're models are excellent, and this is a fantastic image - 10.
