 So far I remember, the scene was just a little different. The horizon was more far and it obviously wasn\\\'t an infrared rendering in the film \\\' Padma nadir majhi\\\' [in english \\\'The Fishermen of padma river\\\'].

The movie was about the life of a fisherman who suffers in agony of poverty. When the river dries out[which basically occurs when INDIA reserves water for it\\\'s own] they face a different reality of life. Sometimes the life is just having plain white rice for weeks and sometimes starving for days. Thus the film potraits the different phases of life and the conroversial elements of life.

May be I\\\'m showing just a tiny bit of happiness when the fisherman has something to sell.

Beautiful image, one of the nicer ir images I have seen. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the movie.

Well this is pretty impressive for basic ... The colors and composition are beautiful without compare. It looks like the camera is focused across the water which makes the foreground subject require a great deal of post processing - which seems to stick out here to me a bit too much.

the closest thing I could find was "Boatman of the River Padma", but that seemed to use natural lighting a la the 70s. In fact, I've never seen a movie that uses the Infrared filter...

This is a fantastic photo.

But... I can't tell what movie scene it is trying to reproduce!

Even with a search of IMDB and Google... nothing really comes up. :(

Simply lovely. I am not usually a fan of IR, but it is shots like this that make me want to learn more about it. I love the *color* tones in this and the composition is strong as well.

LOVE the IR and the blues and the smooth water. As far as the movie goes -- never heard of it. I found "Boatman of the Padma River" on imdb.com, so I guess that's what you were going for.

I dont know what Padma River is but the photo looks somewhat magical and weird. Is this all within the basic Editing guidelines? If so, then cool.
