 Yay my first submission! I couldn\'t resist doing a Pirates of the Caribbean shot for this challenge! Thank you so much to my boyfriend who sat for two hours while I did his makeup, and thanks to my dad for letting me borrow his camera :) I love this shot, and this was so much fun. Oh no I think I\'m hooked on dpc! :|

Back for another comment.. :-) Although the resemblance to Johnny Depp isn't there, that matters not one bit! Because the makeup is so key to that scene, and you have the makeup done so well. In fact, when I first glanced at this image I thought his eyes were open! That was exactly what I thought while watching the movie - and as it is what they wanted us to think, I really feel you have perfectly captured the key emotional element in the scene. Great job.

SOO COOOOL!!! That makeup job was my fav part of the whole movie! it tripped me out! When the challenge is over, it might be cool to make a diptych of this, one frame with eyes close, one with eyes open. That'd be sweeeeet! 8

Man, if the focus on the face had been a little sharper this would have been dead on for me. Wonderful idea and quite a bit of work put into the setup! Overall I really enjoy this. 7
