 Yet another last-minute submission just to get something in. I really should stop doing that. My daughter was a great model... for about three minutes. ;-)

Processing: Converted from RAW (iPhoto defaults),slight curves adjustment, convert to B&W in Channel Mixer, colorize to sepia in HSL, and USM.

Just ran across this. Perfect lighting and focal detail. Love the diagonal and horizontal lines of the hair/blinds. Excellent.

I really do like this shot - so much more than some of the standard "Good looking child" pictures. The eyes have been captured very well. Second or third favourite for me out of 400 plus photo's in this challenge.

Fantastic image. Sharp, contrasty and an interesting take on the lines theme. I like it. Just maybe a little bit too much empty space on the left.

Great portrait! I like how you included the line background to reinforce the line motif, yet the shallow DOF makes it so it's not too overpowering. I love the rich skin tones as well. Nice job.

This is a very well-executed portrait of this little girl, but I don't think it's the best choice for this challenge. The lines aren't the main interest in the picture, her face is. The lines get in the way.

she's gorgeous...great portrait you should be proud of...I don't get the title, but that doesn't really matter (Inited Airlines Logo?)

i like the idea of your shot. but to make the shot a lot stronger i would have cropped the shot quite seriously, leaving only her face and the hair lines.
