Nice pic. I think the biggest drawback for me is that it doesn't look like the eyes are level.. The one on the left looks slightly down from where it should be...
One of my faves from the challenge. It reminded me of X-Men III which is coming out soon!
A little bit of NightCrawler perhaps?
Very creative setup on that eye...
Incidentally, what was the DPC Cinema title? |

I see you pulled off a "Larus", a term I invented that means sucking with the entry immediately following a ribbon, congrats on that achievement :) |

145 out of 235 ....? Unbelievable. This is another one of those which deserved better. There are too many good photos in this challenge but this still needs to be amongst top 10%. It is even technically well executed. |

OUCH!
That eye may explain your ribbons though, as you don't see
the world like the rest of us mere mortals do... |

It's good to see photographers try new post processing techniques but I think I would have really liked this without the green eye. Nice lighting. |

Honestly, this image doesn't do you justice. It may be the true you, though. I don't think I've ever seen that eye... ;) |

I would have scored this shot much higher if one thing were corrected - the placement of the green eye. It's much to low and close to the nose so it appears unnatural. OK, so a green glowing eye isn't supposed to be natural, but I hope you get my meaning. ;) |

sorry I gotta say it. you needed a dark cape and some war paint to match your eye. I think this detracts from what otherwize would be a very nice self portrait. |

I used the shadow/highlight tool to give a peep at your eye there. :-D Seems to be some form of strange tape fixture.
You look a lot younger or something in this picture then others I've seen.
One thing I'd be tempted to do is tone down the circular hotspot spec the light created on your nose. Good luck man! |

So, this is how you see yourself? Which side is the photog side and which side is the SC side? Maybe they are not so deliniated. To your credit, this is a striking portrait that is unsettling without being disturbing. It makes me stop and take the time to comment...and the only complaint I have is that it looks like your dark half is slightly off from where it should be located - only ever so slightly, but that is just my eye, yours is most certainly better. |
