Hard light to shoot in and get a good picture; although I doubt you could get better light for the subject, without bringing some kind of artificial light.

Reminds me of the opening sequence to Kurosawa's Rashamon ( only in color ). Very nice shot.

I used to love visiting the Redwoods when I lived in California. It looks like the the picture suffered from overexposure and an attempt was made to save it in the editing which has caused a dark hue to the picture.

Nice concept, done fairly well. I would like a more drastic image, less wide. Maybe an almost vertigo image, with the camera right under the trunk looking up.
