I gave this an 8. Really liked the colors/patterns/shapes used, as well as the unusual 'placement'. The 'high key' effect works well, but just a fraction more definition, may have made this even better in my opinion... but I'm sure this looks exactly as you intended. |

one of my ribbon picks -- just the right tones, title, composition, you've added depth via the 4 objects' positions. |

Going for a high-key approach? Good concept overall. I'm not sure how this is going to go over with voters given that highly saturated colors are the current fashion, and this is rather toned-down and flat. I find the selection of the onion area and the distinct line with the white background a little distracting. I think the onions should have been selected a little tighter, or maybe feather the selection more, or even use levels/curves more to bring the white up instead. JMO of course. Good luck. |

I like the minimalism of this, but think I would like it more without the depth of field effect. Not totally sure but think so. |

I like the different softness of each and the purple tint, it looks like they hang but that may be an optical illusion |

i love the high-key treatment you have given this image. the narrow DOF and the bright-but-not-quite-white background combine with the apparently floating onions to make an intriguing and surreal photograph.
this looks like it was tough to compose. hard to balance the white space with the far-right focal point. i feel like the image may be a tiny bit squeezed on the left. |

I think this would have been MUCH nicer if the purple was darker. I like how the one on the right appears to be floating. |

that's a lovely soft light and colour, almost light on white...but there's nothing about the shot that makes me go WOW |
