I gave this an 8. Liked the composition, color and texture. Just that 'bit' of mushroom was slightly distracting/out of place, in my opinion, but fairly minor anyway. edit: Congratulations.

I really love this shot of the mushroom, as the "textures" are to die for..... Really "congratulations" on another ribbon.....

| Love the "rays" of the mushroom. Wish the top piece from the stem was not sticking out. It is slightly distracting. But otherwise I think it's beautifully composed and very sharp for a macro shot. |

| not too crazy about the big white thing on top but you have great detail on the bottom and...okay, the top of the mushroom is great - love the detail and the angle. The stem, except for the white part that cuts across my vision is great too. oh, what the hell - 10. I've always wanted to shoot one of these. Haven't gotten around to it... :) |

| I thought about submitting a picture just like this but didn't have time to set it up and shoot. It is good but I think you should have removed that piece that is sticking out because what makes this picture are the lines and that thing on top distracts our attention from them. I'll give you a 7 anyways. |
