Wierd, at first I only saw snow there but then I noticed the wierd texture and saw that it was rocks, funny how the mind can play tricks on you when you are used to see snow large portions of the year. Nice shot, I think the centered composition works well here and I find it interesting. 7 |

Nice contrasts in the slate gray earth, the yellow equipment, and the blue sky. Might be a bit better compositionally if the John Deere weren't dead center - then again, might not. It's actually pretty balanced this way. Meets challenge well. |

You did a good job with the repetition of shape in the stone heaps and the clouds too to some extent. That is what makes the picture work for me. |

I love the strength of the colors and the contrasts in this image, for that reason this should score high. However, I do not see "progress" when I see this image. |
