Dont be put off.
I cant believe some of these people dont get your connection, maybe they live so far from the sea they dont understand.
I suppose its all about opinions, but you got the Top mark from me |

Vauge, or distant, connection to the subject... except it repeatedly washes ashore. |

The bottle is hard to see here and gets lost in the pilings. A tighter crop would have been better. |

The bottle should be a larger part of the image. |

nice, but it took me a couple seconds to realize where the bottle was, and you can't really see the paper inside very well... |

An excellent scene. Great dof and comp. Might have been better to have waited til low light, then use slow shutter on this one. |

Nice picture overall. The message in the bottle seems to take a second place in this composition. |

Lovely picture. Wish the bottle was more obvious. |

Good concept, but I didn't notice the bottle until I read the title. It needs to stand out more. |

If you didn't title your photo "Message in a Bottle" I would have missed it alltogether. To me it looks more like a photo of log poles on the beach. The focus of your composition is not on the bottle at all. |

The message and the bottle need to be in better focus to make them the focal point of the image. As presented, the wood in the center of the image is the focal point. |

The bottle is overpowered by the rest of the photo. If not for the title, I wouldn't have seen it. |

the bottle could be a liitle more visible |

Love the repetition in the old poles, and the colour of the ocean is quite something in the background |

Nice composition and texture. |

Cool idea, even tho others copied you!! LOL. Nice color tones. The aqua in the water, multi-tone browns in the pile-ons are nice! Wish the crop was a little tighter to show off the bottle. It blends in a little too much to be the focal point of the challenge. |

Nice.
Without the title, I would have totally overlooked the bottle though. Maybe focus in more on the subject, while still allowing the waters movement and textures of sand and wood around. |

I would give you 7 points for this and an extra point for the Name of the Lead singer, and the Name of the group and the Year it was released, I am hoping you know so I will give you 10 |

One of the best in this competition. Composition, color etc. |

I like the composition, good focus and lighting. However, there is not enough emphasis on the stationery for me. |

Seems to be a bit of a stretch of fit the challenge but it is a nice photo. 6 |

The bottle is too small and has the same color as the background. It would be a lot better if woul take the shot near the bootle. |

A nicely executed shot of the posts. But the bottle is a litle too discreet. And a little too out of focus for the title element in the shot. |
