this is great.
looks like it has been post processed already, but obviously hasn't.
It did take me a couple of views before noticing the head in his hand.
I thought it was a frying pan to start with :-)
excellent idea and execution (no pun). |

You are a sick dude. ...adding you to my favorites.
I'm not an advocate of violent images, but sometimes it's therapeutic - getting it out of your head. :-) As far as the scoring, DPC voters don't care much for graphic images, but some "dark" images have won ribbons. Keep hacking away. ;-) |

let me ammend what my husband said by adding that although its more realistic that food coloring, corn syrup and cocoa powder mixture is sooo messy. it will stain everything. i dont reccomend it for something like this shot as its all over the place. i also dont recommend you get it in your ear, lol we found that out the hard way. well I did. great photo. wish i saw it during voting. definite ten from me. |

As I already said you were robbed with this score. These shots never do well here but I bet many of the people that score these shots low go to see horror movies. go figure. Very nice creativity on using the transparency for the peephole effect. for a more realistic blood try corn syrup, red food coloring and cocco powder. |

I'm really surprised this didn't do well on DPC....NOT. Forget the scores. |

Quite believable. Looks like peeping through a hole in the wall, too. The atmosphere and the colours are just right. The shapes under the head are confusing. 9 [hope this was a set up :)] |

Love it! One of a few that I gave a 10 to for this challenge. Composition is spot on and has been really well executed. Good luck! |

It's a pity your blood dosn't look red enough, almost looks like spagetti sauce. :-). Love to see how you got the vignette when the comments some up after voting. 7 |

Sorry, I absolutely HATE snuff pics. Nice vignetting though, so I'll give you a 2 instead of a 1. Don't worry, it's just one vote. |

Disturbing - Yet I feel happy to see this after clicking mundane numbers on peoples ruddy pets and flowers... Good job and a well deserved 9 |

Why indeed. Technically and, in "execution", a good photo, but otherwise nauseating and disturbing, not a combination that personally works for me. |

I really don't like this photo's theme. Not cutting edge, just a little sickening. |

Looks like you had some fun doing this photo. For some reason it reminds me a little of the Sopranos, this could be Christopher down at the butcher disposing of someone that crossed Tony. Well done! |
