In case anyone has any doubts, this is a globe shaped candle holder with a lit candle inside and a cube like pattern in the glass.

I think the lighting makes the shot a little too dark for my liking.

candle holder? the title through me off I think. I was trying to see a crystal ball in this picture but then I realized what you meant. cold use more light from the outside too to add dimension to the glass. its overall a bit dark.

Kinda looks like a candle holder. The center bright spot dominates, though.

I like the idea and the really close viewpoint! I wish the other parts of the ball weren't so dark..and that one spot wasn't blown out. its distracting.

Lacks contrast or more definition for the darker areas, I think. The idea is great though. Well done.

I think I would have liked this better if you had added some light to the outside of the candle holder and took advantage of the geometrics of the glass. As it is, I think its too dark.
