Critique club Comment,
Hi from the Critique Club.
I think this image could have scored a lot better if you had done some things different.
Let me explain.
The flowers and the blue glass vase are nice, and if you would have framed it different, and focus it better, this would have been a nice image.
To be honest I can’t find any point in this pic that is in real focusm or maybe this is motion blur?
The right top of the picture is also blown out.
The DPC voters tend to like sharp photo’s.
But don’t give up, you’ll see you will get better and better here at DPC.

This lacks creativity. These pieces dont actually fit the category (doesnt hold water). Also the background looks as if it was supposed to be white, but its kind of pink instead. |

This is a rather pleasing still life composition. Just needs a bit whiter white, maybe. I like the vase and flowers just out of focus. |

Image is grainy. I think it would have been better if you had focused on the flowers and vase rather than the rather boring, empty plain glass. |

The colorful background draws away too much from the subject glass container. Why can't we see more of the container? |

A clear issue to shot glass are the reflections and hot spots. A lot displeasant distraction. You need to control the light hardly to achieve good results. Single light sources usualy do a best job than multiple. Other issue here is the lack of focus. |
