| very good range of tones, I think it works for the image, but I can't say the same for the focus, though I like the out of focus background, I think I would have liked a little more of the tool in focus, perhaps just the cutting edge, along with the wood. |

| Chisel does not actually look like it's peeling this wood as it's sitting a bit too far back which renders the shot a bit too 'posed'. That said, it has good tones and composition but there's not enough to hold my interest for long. |

| Linking a tool to a function or an owner makes all the difference! Some changes with the lighting setup could help balance this image a little. 8 |

| what a great shot. wish i would have thought of it :) the fact that you pulled up some wood in the background to add interest and thought to the picture without distracting is great. i love it. good composition and lighting too. nice work. |

| great shot... the darkness of the tool get a little lost in the background since they are the same color, but still good shot |
