Hello from the Critique Club!

My first impression is that this photo is out of focus. However, spending more time looking at it, I believe that this was amplified by the shadows created by the ripples in the glass of the window. I believe this may have had a large effect on your score. An increas in the DoF might have shapened up the shadows on the floor some.

This shot really lacks any "Wow" factor. It does meet the challenge, but does not do much to impress the viewer so that they would remember your shot after voting. Maybe adding an element that could act as an anchor to this would give the viewer something to focus on, and allow the shadows to bring more interest to that subject.

Very good capture...and thinking outside the box.

Looks a little soft on the focus, but nice way to let the shadows frame the photo. Your photo may be just a tad bit too dark.

An interesting idea. Seems to be a bit out of focus or maybe blurred. I think a different time of day would show the bench better -- I can't tell where it ends.

I like the balance of negative and postive space in this. This shows thoughtful observation to me. Nice.
