A little blownout on the left corner, but shadows are good.

Challenge: SHADOWS III
Description: Creatively capture a shadow

Advanced Edit
High Noon Shadows
Fit: Clearly meets the challenge 1
The compressed shadow from the midday sun is well observed
Aesthetics: OK composition 1
I cannot help but feel that the image would have had more impact with a toghter crop around the main subject, pulling the shadow into the front row.
Technical: Technically OK 1
The highlights are badly blown for me but there is a sense where this adds to the impact of the shadow.
Wow: Has some impact 1
By pulling the shadow more into the composition I think that this image would have significantly increased my score.
Total Score = 4

You don't really focus on the shadows here. The focus is right on the guy walking away.

Wow, that sun sure is directly overhead, making for some very interesting shadows. A nice scene, but the composition is a tad too centered for my liking, and the very bright ground is hard to look at. 7

High noon shadows are nearly no shadows, hardly the best choice for a challenge that emphasizes shadows!
