 The flame here signifies the success or the surge of inspiration. The idea spark. The bulb the ideas or creativity, or the lack of it at some time. Inspiration comes from the most interesting places sometimes.


Must say I applied more than the usual amount of noise reduction, even though I dont apply it all time. It helped need out the little specks on the glass itself. Rest of the image adjustments involved, Levels, Highlights/Shadows, Sat/Hue , Color Balance and Selective Color. Resized and unsharp mask.

I interpreted this as creating a success out of failure. If the bulb didn't produce light one way, another way was found. It clearly DID meet the challenge in my eyes, and in an artistically interesting way.

Very creative but it doesn't fit very well in this challenge. I don't see the success. Maybe is the success that you've been creative or something. Anyways it's a nice photo. I love the white light in the backgroun

Not sure if Thomas Edison would approve, but I do!... Interesting idea and well captured. Great colors and transitions. The small black border works well with this image as well.
