 NOT MY IDEA! I saw something similar in one of my photography books and wanted to give the technique a try. I also wanted to do a non-traditional still life.

Nice shot, well lit. Think this shot got a little bit of did not meet the challenge votes, scored lower than I would have thought. I can understand that though even though I would have voted as it met the challenge, traditionally still life is of inanimate objects and you photographed something that either is or was very recently alive. Anyway, nice shot, well composed and well lit, nice work technically speaking.

This meets the challenge - inanimate and arranged. It's more a picture of the things than of their arrangement though. (I think composition is the raison d'être of still life). Good pic. 6
