Some shots just beg for a strong rule of thirds. And I think this is one of them. Moving the chair more to the bottom left I feel would have helped this shot.
Having said that, its quite nice. Great tones, lighting and shadows. |

A very nice viewpoint, but a bit unclear sizewise - is this a kid's chair? The title somehow suggests departure of an adult, but the perspective suggests that even standing he or she would be only shoulder-high to the window frame. Or am I getting it all wrong? |

You have great light and a simple shot. I would lose the windows all together. |

I think if you positioned the camera to get just the chair and maximum amount of carpet (no wall or window) the picture would have been more effective. But it is still good. |

This could be a very impacting picture! If the chair where a little more off centered...and maybe a little more of the windows in the background...maybe you could have taken it from a slightly different angle...more down with the height of the chair...But again that's just my opinion! 6 |

Interesting. Not shure what to say. I like the negative space with the chair and the carpet. Not shure about the light and the windows and wall in the background. This is an artistic shoot and you are the artist and you did what you liked so take my thoughts with a grain of salt. Good luck -7- |

I really like the negative space in this shot. Tells a story.... |

Interesting shot. When I bring the screen down to hide the window bottoms i get a shot that seems a bit more vast or empty feeling. Then the focus is solely on the chair. none theless I did like this shot. |

Nice idea. Execution is a bit weak. The windows seem to be wrong. |

The title and image will be especially relevant - poignant - to anyone with growing children (me). |

It will be interesting to see the reaction to this one. Personally I like it and enjoy how different it is. I think if the floor had been made of wood, like old wooden planks, this shot would really be amazing. Nice composition and light here. Nice. |

This is a sad shot. Feels like a child has died. |

Your title makes this into a story and not just a photograph. Love the quality of light. |
