| Nice focus and lighting on the orchid. I find the leaves distracting and the orchid too centered. |

colors are too washed out and dont really give a striking effect.
could have worked with color balance to try and make the orchid more red as it is red and green not fuschia and green.
uninteresting title. |

| Interesting. Looks like a mouth opening up. The brightness of the green is a little distracting away from the flower itself tho, to my eye. |

| It looks like you used the flash which blowed the higlights. Try using something to bounce the light from the flash instead, like a white paper. Plus, not complementary. |

| 2 - Don't mind the composition and, despite the somewhat harsh lighting, adds something, as complements the 'sheer' texture of the orchids petals. Ultimately though, I'm seeing purple and green, and a slightly unusual green at that, so doesn't meet the Challenge in my opinion. |

| An interesting composition. I think you've got good focus but the lighting is a little harsh. Maybe the use of a polarizer might have helped to bring out the colour and texture of the leaves. |

| Lighting is really harsh and I don't see any significant amounts of yellow or red, which according to the challenge details would be the complimentary colors to purple or green respectively. |
