That shadow up in the corner looks oddly like a person, how wierd is that! Maybe I am just nuts though, hehe :)

Needs more interest. Nice shade of blue/gray though.

Hmmm... someone got cheated in the view department! The variations in line (crop, frame, bricks) add interest to this shot.

Meets the challenge alright but if I'm honest I would have to say that your subject is a little grey! 5

Same problem as I had, to close to the frame to get him in focus and also the background. The frame is though not interesting and the subject in the midle is not interesting so maybe some other view next time ;)

I like the minimalism. When the depth of field causes foreground elements to be soft, you run the risk of having its mere presence in the front drawing too much attention. Additionally, the frame is the element of highest contrast, giving it too much weight to be so soft IMO. Good subject selection.

Daring to enter a photo of a block wall. ;)

lol, I was thinking about this too, but didn't really have the chance to do it. the window frame is a bit tilted. maybe you could have add a little color in it, like a flower or something, in front of the window?

Hmmm, you know, the texture is just enough to make me like it. Quite daring to have such a mundane subject. 7

This meets the challenge, but the wall is not very interesting to me.
