a tad desaturated? It's really nice that way and lovely work with the shadow and DOF, really effective at adding depth. :)

Very cute kid. I like the almost expression on his face. I'd love to see the next few frames. Like the slight desat - makes me focus on the subject. Very well seen. 8

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

Children. The sweetest things on earth, and yet the easiest to get candids of. In that, I wished more people stepped out of their comfort zone for this challenge and tried not to tug on the heart strings of the voters with children candid shots. In that, and having a son of my own that I could have gotten about 300 chioces of candids from this week alone, I would have to give this photo a 4. No real wow factors for me. Technicals are good, and the 4 is for those technicals.
