this is a powerful image indeed but lost it in the post processing. it needs sharpness as well.

What a great capture and inspirational human interest photo. Your title is so appropriate and the details of the dog, blanket, litter on the stone, the dirt on the hand, overall skin tone and even the reflection in the window are significant. I hope you score well. 9

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

This would have been good, but the focus is way off. The focus isn't on anything I can see really. I probably would have toned this to a b/w or sepia conversion and used USM and HMS to give it more pop. It's a decent candid though, and for that I give you a 4.

Great title. I'd like to see the colors brought up. Too bad you couldn't use the acid filter - that would be so fitting. Nicely focused and composed. 7
