Like the back lighting here, very effective but you've still picked up lots of detail from the mask as well. Good job. |

I like this shot even though I don't like the "Jason" movies. Composition is good as is the lighting. Everything pulls together to make this a very creative photo. |

Well set up shot of a popular movie that is easy to identify. Good luck Jason. |

I think I watched every episode of Friday 13th, that was years ago. I do remember I sometimes got scared shitless watching it :-) This is a good depiction, good job with the lighting. I don't think it is too dark at all, although you'll probably get some comments saying it is. I like it. |

Nice pic and thought but looks too unrealistic though. Looks like Jason has posed for a photo. |

My voting criteria for this challenge are:
1. Did you capture a scene from the movie (as the challenge brief states) or did you enter a picture and fit a title to it.
2. How close a rendition is your image to the movie.
3. How does the image stand up in its own right.
In this case:
1. Unless you walk around all day looking like that I assume you set this up speciffically for the challenge. Well done.
2. Very good representation of the look and atmosphere of the film, this could almost be a publicity still.
3. The lighting and exposure is very good. It appears that you took a lot of effort over getting the lighting and mood right (you'll probably tell me that it took you 5 minutes). Would it stand up in it's own right though? Probably not as it's too closely tied to the film, which must mean that you've meet and fulfilled the challenge.
Overall a very good picture which meets the challenge. 10 |

This actually looks more like part III to me, he's not showing enough character development for part VI. I'm kidding. great shot - like the backlighting and the setting. Good thought shooting it from below - adds nice perspective. |

Just needed a little more light on the mask.. That mask is such a signature of those movies. Good choice.. |

Hey, this looks better than the movie! Excellent job of "recreating a scene." It was a hard thing to do, and you did it, even down to which movie it was from in the series, and the smoke in the background. Nice job. 8 |
