I just wanted to compliment a fellow PSU-er on this photo. Not only is it a nice clear quality photo, you scored a 10 in my book for creativity on this one! (It also shows a sense of humor) Ingenious! Lucky for you, you have the flower gardens as a resource! |

This is pretty good, THe comp is ok but nothing stunning, You might have postitioned the model better to block more of the obvious modern road/paths above Eve's left shoulder. The coloring of the model is very nice, as is the lighting of the whole piece, like the backlighting. I also like that she is not looking into the camera, but around the surroundings to make sure the almighty is not around. Nice work.
Now isn't that Alot better than "macro, bug, nice flower, be more original - 3"..,..you might get more comments without your apparent begging if you learned to comment more constructively your self.

Two thinks that I think may improve the shot, which is a good shot, is to one have here looking directly into the camera like the camera is adam, and second to see if you could get the grapes in focus, they are so big that they almost need to be in focus. |

I wanted to ask?
Instead of the Shhh.. action with the finger to her mouth.
What do you think of a seductive glance just away from the camera showing her blue eyes and biting the apple?
Just an idea and my 2 cents;

I think this a lot better than you current entry. It have a garden feel to it. Focus is good and there is no signs of pixels. With a "My Secret Garden" title I think I would have given it a 6 or 7 |

I agree with zeuszen
I also think the composition could be improved.
The leaf on the left is distracting. Maybe just the model and grapes?
Was this sunrise or sunset? Did you try any flash fill?
The skin tones look a little blue on my monitor probably due to the shade. Maybe the flash fill may help?
Try having the model look more towards the camera showing more od her blue eyes?

A good solid 8, by my scale. |

Artistically, the capture appears quite posed and clicheesque without adding any other feeling or sense. The (given) facial expression is too trivially vacuous to convey anything beyond the factual visual data contained in this shot. I'd prefer to see the subject more to the left within the frame, in order to provide ample space for the eyes to view.
Technically, the dof is too shallow to clearly create an association between the grapes and (current) subject. To achieve this, IMO, would add a vital element, presently lacking.
Ideally, the background could be significantly more blurred, also, which may be partially accomplished by increasing the dof toward the foreground.
I would suggest to step down the exposure to avoid the light burns on the leaves in the foreground.

I like this - it's a good idea but I thing the background spoils it & I'm not sure about the framing (she's eating an apple & this is a grapevine?). The road visible over her left-hand shoulder and the path lights(?) over her right detract since I don't think they had those in the Garden of Eden. So I think it's a good idea, reasonably well executed, but could be better. I'd give this a 6. |

I like it very much. The model looks very nice and the Eve apple idea is good (if not the only one in the challenge). The only major flaw is the brightness to the foreground. I would have also preferred the grapes to be in focus, but that's a personal choice. 7 |
