Cute gnome :) I think it would be more effective if he wasn't centered so much. The sky area is too light. Taken at an angle that didn't include the sky would help I think. |

moving the gnome away from the plants and using a shallower DOF would help isolate him, and blue out the quite distracting background. |

subject is too centered ....based on the title, you might have chosen to look shoot from above and down to make it more insignificant and then you might have lost the troubling glaring overcast |
