...somehow related to the garden...
I think that fits the bill. I wanted to do something NOT in the garden because we've all got a million pictures like that. And who's got a picture of a fork on a spade? Hopefully not many otherwise I've been totally unoriginal!

I've been attempting to make sure that 'Spade' means the same in American English as in British English. Without any luck so I'm just going to have to presume that 'Spade' in american is like a shovel that you use with a fork to dig up the flower beds!

Wow! I almost didn't get this one. I'm glad I took a minute and thought about it. Very good on the creativity. You get bonus points for that.

Nice twist, thinking out of the box always gets extra points from me, very shallow DOF but it does work. 7

a very abstract and novel thought. but why 'Ace of Spades'?

Great idea, but I think I'd have preferred a bit more depth of field.

too subtle I think for the topic "in the garden"

I just love this, the way it goes against the challenge in such a bold manner. The fact thats its a well composed and shot picture too just makes it even better. One possible niggle is the position of the card, pehaps turning is anticlockwise about 10degrees would help the eye stay in the frame.

Good idea, Good composition, marred by a very shallow DoF. I would have liked at least the complete card to be in focus

in the garden????

Maybe it's over my head, but what does this have to do with in the garden?
07/31/2003 07:39:25 AM
Garden?? Otherwise, the focus seems to be only on the top corner of the card. I would like to have some focus on the fork's tines as well.

I like the concept, but what about the garden?

Clever idea, well executed. Insufficient content for interest though, as a photo. An extra point for humour.
