this is an excellent shot. I think its just a little too far right, but damn close to being where I think it should be. very very good "portrait" though. Really nice work 8

| Nice. I like the soft focus. Crop is a little too tight on the right - the dog's nose needs a bit more space. |

| Absolutely beautiful... I'm such a sucker for dog pictures, and this one is done very well, both they eyes and the nose are all in focus very well, and it's almost like I can feel the softness of the fur on his neck. 8 |

Composition: Might have preferred the dog slightly further to the left. Otherwise good.
Technical: In colour I think you might not have got away with such a shallow DOF, but in B&W the 'soft focus' looks good.
Meets challenge: Yes
Overall impression: Well done in a shot that's hard to get right (especially for DPCers!)
